The group says it plans to use provisions tied to the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, allowing donors to receive a 1:1 federal tax credit on contributions of up to $1,700, or $3,400 for couples. BSF argues that this makes donations effectively “net cost $0” while redirecting part of federal tax liability into classrooms rather than general government revenue. The initiative is targeting 12,350 donors, called the “Genesis 12,350,” to fully fund a Texas-focused education pool. Supported coursework would include Bitcoin, Austrian economics, and “freedom tech,” but only at partner schools that complete Base58’s Bitcoin at Work(shop) certification. BSF also highlights a “Zero-Leakage Treasury” powered by STRC, claiming it can bypass standard 10% fees and push nearly every redirected dollar into educational resources. The fund is scheduled for an official launch on January 3, 2027, timed to coincide with Bitcoin’s 18th anniversary.820
